Romantic evening in

This is our first time in Round n Round and we had a really lovely weekend. We think it’s a beautiful little place, very quiet, tranquil and relaxing. We particularly liked lighting the log burner in the evening which really set the scene for a romantic evening together. We really enjoyed the cream tea and would recommend to others.

Thank you so much for your warm welcome and for all your help during our stay

Friday I’m In Love – What a Cure!

Absolutely fantastic few days here. Completely in love with Log Jam, it feels as though everything has been thought of, from home comforts to storage space, to making it as cosy as is possible. Thank you Bernice & Huw

Also love the views from the cabin & surrounding area – so beautiful and peaceful. We’ll be telling everyone we know about this perfect little retreat! Thank you!

Serenity & Calm

Thank you all for the wonderful welcome and excellent hospitality! The RnR is beautiful and the attention to detail in even the smallest things (the little bird in the tree outside the front door) is evidence of the love and care that went into the building of this wonderful piece of serenity and calm.

We’re so glad that we managed to get a booking so last minute, the whole stay was glorious and we look forward to staying again.

What a beautiful five days at Round n Round! We loved our walk from St Agnes to Chapel Porth on the cliffs and coffee @CanteenCornwall as well as a chilly but awesome swim at Carn Marth quarry pool! We loved cooking on the indoor and outdoor fires and can recommend a fresh herb pot from Huw & Bernice! Below is one of our recipes ❤️

For a Swallows and Amazons adventure we recommend Trelissick – see walk 19 in the Wild Swimming book. Was a little cold for a dip so we’ll have to come back later for one!

THANK YOU for an amazing stay ❤️, us!

BBQ Corn with ginger, peanut & chilli (VE)
1- Mix together 50g crunchy peanut butter, 80ml coconut milk, 30ml lime juice, 1.5tbsp soy sauce, 2.5cm ginger grated, 1 red chilli chopped, 10g chopped chives (coriander would work too)
2 – Coat the corn in a bowl with some oil & sea salt and pop on the BBQ/fire for 4/5 mins until its charred to your liking 😋
3 – Pour the sauce over the cooked corn & enjoy!!!

A lifetime first!

This was the most magical place to stay for our first weekend away together since our children were born (over 11 years ago!) The whole place was idyllic and for the first time in my life I’ve just wanted to stay STILL, not rush off + fill my days with as much as possible. I think it’s the same for both of us and we would definitely come back again! Thank you both very much

A small reminder

What a lovely cabin. I can’t describe how much I love it here! To be able to escape to this lovely hideout has been so refreshing. It’s been invaluable to just slow down, unwind and appreciate the small things. It’s far to easy to get bogged down & distracted in our day to day lives, and to often forget the important things. The time spent here has helped us remember those.

The cabin has been planned out & built to perfection. Thank you Bernice & Huw, Tux & Brady!

Homemade bread

Wow – what a lovely place! So different from anywhere else we have stayed. Bernice & Huw were wonderful hosts – any problems or questions we had, they came back with solutions straight away.

The Wee Shop is so handy, we got loads of bits from here – definitely recommend putting in an order for the homemade bread!

Lovely break before the baby comes…
