Our guests say the loveliest things in Log Jams’s Guest book

The day a heron came to visit

Thank you for a wonderful experience staying in the hand made cabin. Crispin had fun mastering the log oven! We made mini pizzas in the dish and croissants, which were a success! We saw a massive beautiful heron outside the bedroom window and it was amazing to switch off our phones and connect with nature. It felt so special it was hand made with such care. We will be recommending it to all!! And would love to revisit. Thank you!!

– Crispin & Charlotte

Walking barefoot through the woodland to the wild jacuzzi

Thank you for a restful and calming staycation. We love a rustic meets luxury woodland cabin and Log Jam is those things and more. The little touches are everything and the bed is SO comfy! Walking barefoot through the woodland to the wild jacuzzi for a dip and back again to the fire to warm up was the highlight for us. You cannot beat the sound of the water and birdsong. The cabin smells devine when you walk back in, like warm pine. You guys are amazing hosts and so are the animals, we will be back!!!

– Fliss & Jack

Lots to see and do

Day 1 – We arrived and had a long drive so we were so excited to see the place and oh my! This was so private and amazing, and so easy to turn off and enjoy your surroundings.
Day 2 – After an amazing sleep in the hidden bedroom and coffee in bed off we go exploring! …We had a lovely day, worth the drive!! p.s. pain au choc croissant was the best!
Day 3 – We put our cork up, good luck finding it! Little rain last night and that made us sleep as well!… back from our day, was lovely; done some shopping, things to take back with us, long walks seeing lots.
Day 4 – last morning, we have loved this trip away, was amazing, beautiful seeing everywhere.

– Rosa & Sam

Places we went:

St Nectars Glen – water walk (near Tintagel). This was a beautiful waterwalk and we loved it
Tintagel – King Arthur’s Castle, a new bridge to get to the other side. Beautiful. Sea so blue all around
Penzance – Lovely water and beach side, great for walking and maybe a dip!
Porthcurno – Lovely beach! Waves were strong and cold but we got our feet in!
St Ives – Was a beautiful town. We walked for ages and enjoyed it lots. Found a hidden alley way to a smaller beach, was stunning.
St Michael’s Mount – Lovely walk. So pretty, must go!

A new beginning

Thanks for providing this magical space for us to share and begin our new chapter together. Being nestled away in the woods gave us such peace & tranquility after a hectic few months. The love you guys have poured into this place is evident & we hope to take some of that feeling with us into the next part of our lives.

It was lovely to meet you all (including cheeky Pan!) & we wish you health, happiness & good fortune for the future.

– love Lauren & Sam
