From the moment we arrived at RnR a stillness came upon us. A complete change in mindset. The attention to detail + thoughtful touches encapsulate Huw & Bernice’s efforts and are truly heart warming. Highlights of our break – Kate wheelbarrowing Jules up the hill! – So much food and time spent cooking outdoors – watching Phil the pheasant wander around the fire – Ju waking up to find she had slept on a spider! 😂 – boardgames (so competitive), stargazing and moonlit walks – Kate using the compost loo – Ju finally getting to experience Kate’s fire lighting abilities (so good!) – Ju losing her lens cap through the decking, and Kate commando crawling under the cabin to rescue it. ALL in ALL, an incredible break from 2 very stressful careers for Jules birthday. Can’t wait to return. Thank you so much x

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for this beautiful heaven that you have created. We had planned to go out and do some sight-seeing around Cornwall, but, like so many others in this guestbook have said, we found ourselves never wanting to leave the perfectly idyllic Round n Round. Instead, we spent as much time as we could, cosy around both the campfire outside and the wood burner inside, reading aloud from ‘the lion the witch and the wardrobe’.
Your hospitality has been absolutely fantastic and we have both been so welcome here, the only problem, we never want to leave!
Our last night was made extra special by a very quick jump in the ‘wild jacuzzi’ before running back to warm ourselves by the fire and roast marshmallows! We also met some donkeys in the neighbouring field. Stithians Lake is also worth a visit, but we hope everyone else has more luck fly fishing for trout than we did!

Your attention to every little detail is unbelievable and can never go unnoticed. Kyran is still wondering how the staircase works! We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Little M & hopefully we get to experience it along the way!

This was our first visit to Cornwall and it did not disappoint. Round n Round was the cherry on the cake… or the seasoning in the pasty!
The enchanted cabin at the end of the bumpy lane is simply perfect. The location really was the middle of everywhere that we wanted to explore, providing access to all the major tourist spots and hidden gems alike.
Our favourite afternoon and evening was spent at Round n Round swinging in the hammock sipping wobbly pop and watching the campfire burn… so relaxing, so special! We loved waking early to the sound of birds and watching the sunrise through the trees with a mug of hot steaming coffee.
Thank you Huw & Bernice for allowing us to share your dream for a few days! Your attention to detail is incredible and your welcome is warm and heartfelt. An anniversary to remember! We hope to return soon!

We cannot express enough how much we have enjoyed our stay at Round n Round!
It has been everything & more than what we expected and we have enjoyed making the most of the peace, tranquility and relaxing environment that Round n Round has to offer!
Before arriving we had planned to go sight-seeing everyday however as soon as we arrived, we knew that wasn’t going to be the case. Relaxing, reading and competitive chess games filled our days, alongside cooking on the indoor and outdoor stoves and going on countryside walks…
Tips & Tricks:
– If you want to explore any of the popular beaches, get up early to snap empty beaches 📷. (They fill up fast!)
– We recommend the walk to the butchers and the amazing food at the local pub! (butchers shut at 12:30 on a Saturday)
Finally we would like to thank Huw & Bernice for their hospitality, attention to detail and for being amazing people. They have made our stay incredible! We also recommend the fresh bread & veg box!

We’ve had the most AMAZING stay at Round n Round!!!
It was a complete surprise for my 30th birthday and I had no idea what to expect but I’ve been in awe since walking down the little lane and seeing it.
We literally haven’t wanted to leave, it’s been so cosy & quiet – absolutely perfect for some RnR. The only time we left was a couple of short walks to the organic shop and to the butcher with a pit stop at the pub (the food is delicious)…
We saw a deer on our walk and have been regularly watching the birds just outside the cabin.
Huw & Bernice have been fantastic and so accommodating, it’s made the stay feel even more relaxing. It’s literally been the most perfect week!
A few tips from us:
– Try a veg box – it’s amazing!!!
– Let the fire die down a couple hours before bed -it gets very warm up there 😅
– Don’t make loads of plans – you won’t want to leave
