Step into Tylda (Cornish for tent), a spacious 6 metre Mongolian yurt that exudes warmth and coziness. Authentically handcrafted with care. Essentially a massive round tent constructed from canvas, lots of wooden poles, lattice work to die for and wearing a thick felt layer that cuddles & keeps the love and warmth in. Oozing romance of a bygone era where life was lived at a much slower pace. The interior is carefully curated from locally sourced second-hand up-cycled furniture adding a touch of class and drama. From the privacy screen and dressing area to the hand picked library/games chill out space. There’s even a record player, so don’t forget to pack some well loved vinyl to add to the romantic vibe on offer

The chill out area harks back to the nomadic tradition of comfortable low seating around a big round table. An ideal spot to simply soak in the amazing light and tranquility of the space; relax with a good book or get competitive over a board game or two…

Perfect balance between rustic and modern

I don’t feel my words can do it justice

What a beautifully magical place, I don’t feel my words can do it justice. Despite all the books I want to read on the bookshelf… I have actually most enjoyed reading the handbook and hearing all about the thought and care that has gone into making Log Jam the amazing place it is. Really admire how sustainability has been considered in every little touch and we’ve most certainly felt as though we are living in luxury too. We hope…
